Uttar Pradesh ODOP Training and Toolkit Scheme: A Quick Overview
The Uttar Pradesh ODOP Training and Toolkit Scheme is part of the state’s One District One Product (ODOP) programme. It gives artisans and workers free skill and entrepreneurship training linked to their district’s product, a daily honorarium, and a free modern toolkit to improve their work.
What Is the Scheme?
Many traditional artisans still work with old tools and limited technical knowledge, which affects product quality and income. The scheme addresses this by providing training and better tools. It is implemented by the District Industries and Enterprise Promotion Centres (DIEPCs) under the Directorate of Industries, Uttar Pradesh.
