Tamil Nadu Vetri 150 Scheme
For many vulnerable rural families, a guaranteed job is the main source of income through the year. The Tamil Nadu Vetri 150 Scheme, announced in the 2026-27 State Budget, gives eligible households 25 extra days of wage employment once they finish the standard 125 days under the VB-G RAM G scheme (Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin)). This takes their total to 150 days of work in a year. The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, implements it.
