Rajasthan Kali Bai Bheel Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Yojana: A Free Scooty for Meritorious Girl Students

Getting to college is a daily cost and a daily hurdle for many girls. Rajasthan’s Kali Bai Bheel Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Yojana gives selected meritorious girl students a free scooty, petrol or electric, along with insurance, petrol, a helmet and registration costs.

Applications are open until 30 November 2026. The 2026-27 window opened on 1 October 2026, which leaves about three weeks from today (8 November). Apply through the Rajasthan SSO portal. Meeting the minimum marks does not guarantee a scooty, since selection is by merit list.

What is the scheme?

The Commissionerate, College Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, runs the scheme for girl students who go on to regular graduation and professional courses after Class 12. It covers the General, SC, ST, EBC, Minority and Denotified/Nomadic/Semi-Nomadic Tribe categories. The department verifies applications and publishes separate provisional and final merit lists for each category.
