Young people in Madhya Pradesh can spend a year working inside the machinery of local governance and get paid for it. The Chief Minister Young Interns for Good Governance Programme (CMYIGGP) 2026 offers 4,695 internships across the state, with ₹11,200 a month in total support.
The 2026 application window has closed. The deadline was extended to 5 October 2026 at 6:00 PM, and today is 8 November. If you didn’t apply, watch the AIGGPA and CEDMAP notices for any further round. The programme is an internship and not a government job or appointment.
What is the programme?
CMYIGGP is a one-year, full-time internship that gives young people practical exposure to government processes and good governance work at the grassroots. The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), Bhopal, runs it under the Public Service Management Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It follows the earlier Chief Minister Youth Internship for Professional Development Program (CMYIPDP) but is a separate programme focused on good governance.
The 2026 intake covers 55 districts and 313 development blocks, with 15 interns in each block, for a total of 4,695 interns.
