- Please login the student zone/portal by placing login credentials , where students can check their personal details & subjects from the student zone URL :-(https://www.bosse.ac.in/student/student login.php) by placing their credentials(Enrollment number and Date of birth (ddmmyyyy).

BOSSE offers three(03) types of admission:
- Fresh/New Admission:
- Students must select a minimum of 5 subjects (including at least 1 language) and a maximum of 7 subjects. This is for students who intend to give examination for the first time in Secondary or Senior Secondary programme.
- Transfer of Credit (TOC):
- For students who have appeared for Secondary (X) or Senior Secondary (XII) exams with any recognized board but were unable to clear all subjects.
- Students can transfer credits for up to 4 subjects that they have passed with another board. They can then take up to 4 subjects with BOSSE, but the total number of subjects cannot exceed 7, with at least 1-2 languages. For e.g. if a student has passed 4 subjects and failed in 1, he can take credit of those 4 subjects and appear in 1 from BOSSE. Vice versa this system will follow. However, the total subjects can’t exceed 7 subjects with at least 1-2 languages in total subjects.
- Part Admission:
- This is for students who have already passed Secondary (X) or Senior Secondary (XII) from a recognized board and wish to take additional subjects.
Students can select 1-4 subjects as part of their admission.
BOSSE (Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education) is an open school board established under Sikkim Act No. 14 of 2020. It was created to promote and provide open schooling education at the village, state, and national levels. The board is recognized by the Ministry of Education, COBSE, Various state boards, and Government organizations at both State and National levels.
Examination Sessions:
BOSSE conducts examination thrice(03) a year:
- April-May(Block 1)
- July
- October-November (Block 2)
April- May, October-November Examination is for all types of admission.
July Exam is exclusively for Compartment and Fail students.
About The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education(BOSSE):
The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) and CSC SPV joined hands to make CSCs to cater the need of heterogeneous group of learners. . Under this partnership, CSCs can promote the Open Schooling in Rural India, Register Students, Pay Registration and Examination Fee, Know the Status of Admission, and Declare Results.

üThe Association of Indian Universities (AIU), has granted Equivalence to BOSSE, Sikkim and its certificates for admission to higher education.
üProvide an opportunity to school dropouts to complete their education up to Class 12.
üNo need to travel miles and go to schools.
üStudy at home and continue job.
üAnyone above 14 years can get admission under Open Schooling.
üBOSSE Certificate is accepted by all the Universities and Colleges for continuing higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
Secondary:
- Secondary Certificate is equivalent to the 10th standard. Eligibility for taking admission to Secondary Programme is minimum 15 years of age (Before Exam).
- There is no restriction on choice of subjects and combinations, except that minimum one language has to be taken.
- Learners can choose their subjects from the BOSSE List of Subjects.
Sr. Secondary:
- Senior Secondary Programme is equivalent to 12th standard. Those who have successfully passed Secondary from recognised board are eligible to take admission to Sr. Secondary Programme of BOSSE.
- All applicants need to submit a self attested copy of their Secondary Certificate. There is no restriction on choice of subjects and combinations, except that minimum one language has to be taken.
- Learners can choose their subjects from the BOSSE List of Subjects

Steps to Track Student’s Admission Application

- Click on “Login with Digital Seva Connect”
- https://www.bosse.org.in/Account/Login.aspx?UT=99
- Go to the Admission type menu and click on show student.
- Next, select the Admission type, Batch, Class, and document status.
- The student’s application number along with their details and remarks will be visible on this page
After Receiving the Enrollment / Registration Number
- Please login the student zone/portal by placing login credentials , where students can check their personal details & subjects from the student zone URL :-(https://www.bosse.ac.in/student/student login.php) by placing their credentials(Enrollment number and Date of birth (ddmmyyyy).
Note: – After checking the details, In case of any correction you can email CSC along with the supportive documents of student’s.
Student’s Details :-
- Student can check his/her course details ,personal details & subjects .
- Student can access his/her online study materials, videos & other resource from the Learners corner tab.
- Next, all concerned files regarding assignments, practical exams, main exams will be displayed in student portal. It will also be circulated via WhatsApp and notified via notifications in VLE’s portal and website.
