Uttar Pradesh Agri Junction Yojana
Farmers often have to travel far to buy genuine seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, while trained agriculture graduates sit unemployed. The Uttar Pradesh Agri Junction Yojana, officially the Prashikshit Krishi Udyami Swavalamban Yojana, addresses both problems. Started in 2022-23 by the UP Agriculture Department, it helps agriculture graduates set up their own AgriJunction centres, where farmers get quality inputs and technical advice in one place.
