Running a household is real work, and the Karnataka Government’s Gruha Lakshmi Scheme was built to recognise exactly that. Launched in 2023, it gives eligible women a steady monthly income, paid straight into their bank accounts. This post explains who can benefit, what documents you need, how to apply, how to check your payment, and what the latest re-verification drive means for existing beneficiaries.

The money can go toward household expenses, children’s education, healthcare, nutrition, and other daily needs.
