Rajasthan Economic Help to Sahariya Students for B.Ed. Training Scheme
The Sahariya community remains one of the most backward tribal groups in Rajasthan, and very few of its youth reach government jobs. The Economic Help to Sahariya Students for B.Ed. Training Scheme, run by the Commissionerate, College Education Department, Rajasthan, supports Sahariya students during their teacher training, since a B.Ed. degree opens the door to teaching jobs. The Rajasthan Government bears 100% of the cost, and the scheme has been running since 2023-24.
